Bickleton, WA | The Bluebird Capital of the World
Stop by for Breakfast or Lunch at the Market Street Cafe!
Featuring an array of incredible food, a diverse selection of groceries, charming bluebird houses, delicate glass bluebirds, and an abundance of bluebird-themed gifts, the Market Street Cafe stands as a vital cornerstone of the community.
The block where the Café resides boasts a rich history. Constructed in 1948, the current café and grocery store building was crafted from the lumber salvaged from a grand turn-of-the-century abandoned house situated outside the town limits. Initially serving as a mercantile and grocery store for 35 years, it was under the ownership of the Marvel family followed by the Looney family. In 1982, the establishment underwent a transformation into a local café and grocery store. Presently owned by the Wilson family, although having changed hands multiple times, it continues to serve as a cherished gathering place within the community.
